  • Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
  • Maintain and test mechanical equipment to ensure operating efficiency
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
  • Read and understand operating manuals and technical drawings
  • Experience in repair and troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems including use of such schematics is required
  • Good problem solving, trouble shooting and communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Perform work as assigned on work orders with efficiency, safety, and accuracy in accordance with dealership, factory, and regulatory standards
  • Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction and perform repairs as authorized in a timely manner
  • Note any other repair, maintenance, or safety concerns observed on customer vehicles and advise service desk for repair quoting
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save/tag parts if the repair is under warranty, has a core, or if requested by the customer
  • Examine/test drive vehicles to determine what repairs are required or if additional service work is required
  • Test drive vehicles to confirm repair
  • Maintain timely accurate records of work performed
  • Report all equipment/tool damage or maintenance requirements and any observed safety issues to management promptly
  • Complete online and off-site training as requested by management within deadlines presented
  • Must own your own tools
  • Valid driver's licence
  • $42.00/hour to $44.00/hour (more based on experience)
