Entry-Level Apprentice Part-time Position
We are looking for an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice (310S) to join our client's collision repair team.
This is a great opportunity for an apprentice who wants to build experience in mechanical repairs, diagnostics, EVs, ADAS and collision-related vehicle inspections.
This is not a typical oil change and tire service apprentice position. You will work alongside experienced collision technicians and learn how accidents can affect a vehicle's mechanical, electrical and safety systems.
You will work on both gas-powered (ICE), hybrid and electric vehicles.

We are looking for an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice (310S) to join our client's collision repair team.

What You'll Do
- Inspect collision-damaged vehicles for mechanical damage
- Identify damaged steering, suspension, drivetrain, cooling, HVAC and braking components
- Assist with pre-repair and post-repair inspections
- Remove and replace suspension and steering components
- Replace control arms, knuckles, wheel bearings, subframes and related components
- Assist with engine, transmission and drivetrain removal when required
- Perform wheel alignments and review alignment measurements
- Inspect vehicles for hidden mechanical damage caused by collisions
- Perform collision-related cooling system and A/C repairs
- Assist with A/C recovery, vacuum and recharge procedures
- Perform diagnostic scans and basic electrical diagnosis
- Inspect wiring, connectors, sensors, harnesses, grounds and mounting points
- Assist with ADAS preparation and calibration procedures
- Document inspection findings and additional damage
- Complete post-repair mechanical inspections and quality-control checks
- Road test vehicles when required
- Keep your work area clean, safe and organized

- Registered or eligible to register as an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice (310S)
- Strong interest in automotive mechanical repair and diagnostics
- Willingness to learn collision-related repair procedures
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Able to follow repair procedures and safety requirements
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship
- Reliable, organized and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable learning new vehicle technology
