Automotive Licensed Technician (Journeyman - 310S) – Mississauga, ON

Our Client is looking for an experienced Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join a busy collision repair facility.

The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and service mechanical components on collision-damaged vehicles. You will work alongside autobody technicians, estimators, and production staff to ensure vehicles are repaired safely, correctly, and on time.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical damage caused by vehicle collisions.

  • Repair steering, suspension, brakes, driveline, cooling, HVAC, engine, and electrical systems.

  • Remove and reinstall mechanical components during collision repairs.

  • Inspect and repair suspension and steering components.

  • Perform wheel alignments or prepare vehicles for alignment.

  • Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic scan tools.

  • Complete pre-repair and post-repair vehicle scans.

  • Follow manufacturer (OEM) repair procedures and safety standards.

  • Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly.

  • Identify additional mechanical damage and report findings to estimators and production staff.

  • Work closely with autobody technicians to keep repairs on schedule.

  • Complete repair orders and maintain accurate service records.

  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

  • Participate in ongoing training as vehicle technology changes.

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence – Required.

  • Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.

  • Strong mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience repairing automotive mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment and scan tools.

  • Ability to read and follow manufacturer repair procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

Assets (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Previous experience working in an autobody or collision repair facility.

  • Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and calibration requirements.

  • Experience with collision-related mechanical repairs.

  • Experience with wheel alignments and suspension repairs.
