We are looking for an experienced Autobody Painter/Prepper to our client’s team in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality paint and prep work while maintaining safety and efficiency.

We are looking for an experienced Autobody Painter/Prepper to our client’s team in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality paint and prep work while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Prepare vehicles and parts for paint (sand, mask, prime, clean)
- Mix and match paint using automated mixing systems
- Apply coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment
- Perform touch-ups and finishing work as needed
- Inspect work and identify defects or imperfections
- Clean and maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and use PPE properly
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Assist with material handling and shop support tasks
- 3+ years of autobody painting/prep experience (Journeyman or Apprentice is ideal)
- 310 B License
- Strong knowledge of paint prep, refinishing, and repair processes
- Ability to identify defects and ensure high-quality workmanship
- Comfortable using spray guns, power tools, and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physically capable (lifting, standing, bending for extended periods)
- Committed to safety and following procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Fast-paced shop environment
- Exposure to dust, noise, heat, and fumes
- Use of PPE required (respirator, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
- Physically demanding role requiring stamina and coordination
- Flat rate pay plan with straight time guarantee available ($18.00/hour and $43.00/hour, based on experience)
