Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation:
- $22.00 – $28.00/hour (based on experience) - can be negotiated higher
- Benefits available after 90-days
- Relocation assistance is available
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for paint (sanding, masking, cleaning, priming)
- Mix and match paint to OEM specifications
- Apply paint, clear coat, and finishes using spray equipment
- Perform blending and polishing to ensure high-quality finish
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of autobody prep and/or painting experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to color match and blend panels
- Experience with spray guns and paint booth operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have:
- Journeyman certification
- I-CAR training or certification
- Experience with waterborne paint systems
